The DCR Chemical Applicator (DCRCA) is a purpose-designed accessory engineered to integrate seamlessly with the De-compaction Rake carrier frame, compatible with both the DCR and 3DCR models.
 
Its primary function is the accurate and efficient application of approved chemicals to long-fibre synthetic sports surfaces, with 3G pitches being the most common environment for use.
 
A precision dribble/drip distribution bar delivers the chemical directly in front of the scarifying tine assembly. As the applicator operates, the chemical is dispensed onto the surface, after which the tines open and agitate the carpet pile. This process enables the applied solution to penetrate deeply into the synthetic fibres, ensuring optimal treatment effectiveness.
 
The system features adjustable flow control, allowing operators to fine-tune application rates to meet specific product, surface, or environmental requirements. Power for the onboard pump is supplied directly from the towing unit; alternatively, an independent battery system can be fitted where external power is not available.
